Maxwell Technologies Falls on Loss

 

Maxwell Technologies (MXWL Quote) was down 13.7% in midafternoon after falling as much as 18% earlier.

The electronic components maker reported a first-quarter loss from continuing operations of 27 cents a share. The Thomson Financial/First Call estimate was an 11-cent loss.

Maxwell also slashed its forecast for revenue growth this year by half to 15%
