Mattel (MAT Quote) posted fourth-quarter earnings of $120.7 million, or 28 cents a share, Thursday, topping Wall Street estimates by two cents. In the same period last year, Mattel earned $100.5 million, or 24 cents a share.

The 22 analysts polled by I/B/E/S arrived at a consensus estimate of 26 cents a share.

The toymaker reported revenue of $1.6 billion, up from $1.5 billion in the year-ago period.
