Avant! Drops After Delaying Earnings

 

Integrated circuit software designer Avant! (AVNT Quote) was down 18.5% in midafternoon trading.

After the close Tuesday, the company said in a press release that it would postpone its earnings report and conference call because it is still completing its year-end audit.

The company, which was due to report Tuesday, said it would release results by Feb. 15.
