Halbherr is leaving the company following a dispute with CEO Rajeev Suri over the focus of the maps division, according to Bloomberg. The reported dispute was over whether the division would focus on automotive and enterprise clients or continuing to target consumers with Here Maps.
Nokia said Halbherr is leaving to "pursue entrepreneurial interests." Cliff Fox, senior vice president of Here Maps will become acting head of the maps division.
