NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- CBS
(CBS) stock is up 2.05% to $62.10 today after it was reported that it's a potential buyer of CNN if Time Warner
(TWX) was sold to Rupert Murdoch's 21st Century Fox
(FOXA), according to the Wall Street Journal.
21st Century Fox has made an $80 billion takeover bid for Time Warner which the company rejected.
Other potential buyers of CNN could include Bloomberg and Yahoo (YHOO).
