Chemical Financial Corporation Announces Underwriters' Exercise Of Over-Allotment Option

MIDLAND, Mich., June 30, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Chemical Financial Corporation (Nasdaq:CHFC) announced today the closing of the sale of 375,000 shares of its common stock pursuant to the underwriters' exercise of the over-allotment option, which the Company granted in connection with its previously announced underwritten public offering of 2,500,000 shares of its common stock. With the exercise of the over-allotment option, the Company has sold a total of 2,875,000 shares at a price of $28.00 per share to the public in the offering.

Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, a Stifel company, acted as the sole book-running manager in this offering. Sandler O'Neill + Partners, L.P. acted as co-manager for the offering.

The offering was made under the Company's shelf registration statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on June 12, 2014, which became immediately effective.
