The U.S. business group of Sun Life Financial Inc. (NYSE: SLF, TSX: SLF) has announced Mindy Schulz as Group Market Manager and Assistant Vice President for Sun Life’s Southwest territory, encompassing Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, Colorado, Utah and Wyoming.
“Mindy’s new focus reflects our strategy to help our distribution team provide comprehensive advice across all product lines, Stop-Loss, Life, Disability, and Group Voluntary,” said Dan Schmid, VP and Regional Market Leader for Sun Life’s West region. “Backed by operations experts, our group market managers can now spend more time doing what they do best -- mentoring reps on-site and driving the collaboration that will provide the most innovative products and services to benefit brokers. This approach allows Sun Life to fully leverage Mindy’s expertise in our Core, Voluntary, and Stop-Loss products,” Schmid added.
With over 20 years of employee benefits experience, Schulz joined Sun Life in 2012. She received a BA in International Business from University of Nebraska Lincoln, and internationally attended Senshu University, and Oxford University.
