Comcast today announced that Jeff Freyer, Regional Vice President for the Twin Cities Region, has been elected to the board of directors of the Minneapolis Saint Paul Regional Economic Development Partnership, or GREATER MSP. As a board member, Freyer will join a team of top business leaders working to coordinate business retention, expansion and recruitment programs to stimulate capital investment and job creation across the region.

GREATER MSP is a private non-profit organization dedicated to providing public and private sector leadership, coordination and engagement to grow the economy of the 16-county Minneapolis - Saint Paul region. The plan emphasizes telling our story; retaining and attracting key talent, and focusing on our sectors of strength for global leadership.
In his role at Comcast, Freyer is responsible for overseeing both XFINITY residential and Comcast Business services in the Twin Cities Region, which includes operations in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Missouri and Kansas. Freyer has more than 17 years in the telecommunications industry, serving in a variety of leadership positions. He holds an undergraduate degree from the the University of South Carolina and a Master of Science degree in Statistics from the University of Tennessee.Freyer was elected to serve a one-year term at the GREATER MSP board’s April 24 meeting.
