Amazon & Me Workshop
at the 2014 Internet Retailer Conference & Exhibition (IRCE), taking place June 10-13 at McCormick Place West in Chicago. The daylong workshop, scheduled for Tuesday, June 10, will cover best practices for selling on Amazon and strategies that online retailers can use to improve their performance on the marketplace.
“As IRCE celebrates its 10 year anniversary, I’m really excited to moderate the Amazon & Me workshop,” said Wingo. “One of the best ways to learn about e-commerce is to study the largest online retailer, Amazon. In this workshop, we’ll dig in deep on the marketplace, Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA), webstores and more to surface best practices that attendees can apply to their businesses.”
The Amazon & Me Workshop will consist of eight sessions presented mainly by analysts and retailers. In addition to hosting the entire workshop, Wingo will present the welcome and introduction at 8:45 a.m. CDT and will participate in the Q&A session at 3:30 p.m. CDT. Furthermore, Gina DeFrank, ChannelAdvisor product manager for marketplaces, will present “Writing for Amazon: Make It Clear and Concise” at the workshop at 10:15 a.m. CDT. In her session, DeFrank will provide strategies for writing titles and product descriptions to compete on Amazon and meet the marketplace’s standards.
