BOSTON, May 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- John Hancock Retirement Plan Services (JH RPS) is pleased to announce that it has hired Thomas Martin as regional vice president, Northeast, responsible for sales and relationship development with financial representatives and plan consultants in eastern New York State and south Fairfield County, Connecticut. He reports to Ray Hemstreet, divisional vice president, Northeast Division.

Martin has more than 18 years of experience in the financial services industry, all in the field of retirement plans, and most recently served as a regional sales director for a significant retirement plan provider.
Martin earned a BBS in Management and Economics and an AS in Business Management from the State University of New York, Empire State College.
