Bang is the executive leader responsible for investment strategy, product, business development, client relationships and operations for Sun Life's new third-party asset management business in Canada.

Bang has an extensive background in building investment strategies and operations; most recently as Chief Investment Officer of the Qatar Foundation Endowment (QFE), one of the largest endowment funds in the world. Prior to his role at QFE, Bang was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) based in Paris, France. Bang has also held the role of President, Senior Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer for SSGA Canada.
