The opening of this second Natuzzi Store in NYC (the first, opened in 2004, is located at the SoHo quarter) was followed by another important event: the participation of Natuzzi at the
International Contemporary Furniture Fair
(ICFF ), from May 17
to May 20
, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, for the first time with a dedicated booth.
All these initiatives, together with the recent appointment of Edward Teplitz as Chief Commercial Officer of Natuzzi Americas, are part of the Natuzzi’s reinforcement strategy in the USA, as included the Business Plan for the 2014-2016 period, approved by the board of directors in February, anticipating a double-digit sales growth in the North America region during the three-year period ending in 2016.
"I am particularly proud to announce the opening of our new flagship store in New York, at the prestigious location of Madison Avenue,"
President and Chief Executive Officer of Natuzzi S.p.A., stated.
“Our global expansion started from the USA in the 80’s and in the USA our company was listed in 1993. With the opening of our second store in New York, adding to the already existing 60 Natuzzi Italia points of sale in North America, we intend to reinforce that special feeling that has been linking our brand to the American consumers. This further investment confirms the real Group’s commitment in strengthening and upgrading its global retail network and its role as ambassador of the Made-in-Italy in the world."
