NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Shares of Abbiott Laboratrories (ABT) were upgraded to "outperfom" from "neutral" at Credit Suisse (CS), citing higher growth assumptions with the acquisition of CFR Pharmaceuticals.
The price target was raised to $46 from $44.
The stock is up 1.31% to $39.57 in pre-market trade.

Along with the favorable debt-to-equity ratio, the company maintains an adequate quick ratio of 1.07, which illustrates the ability to avoid short-term cash problems.
