Manning & Napier Enhances Defined Contribution Offerings With Dedicated Distribution Channel

Manning & Napier, Inc. (NYSE:MN), (“Manning & Napier” or “the Company”) today announced the formalization of a dedicated Defined Contribution Investment Only (”DCIO”) wholesaler team to complement its longstanding presence in this growing market segment and enable the Company to better address the needs of retirement advisors and the plans they serve.

The creation of the dedicated DCIO wholesaler team is a reflection of increased momentum in the DCIO market, currently estimated at $2.8 trillion, and expected to grow to over $4.0 trillion by 2018, according to recent data by Strategic Insight. The Company currently manages approximately $12 billion in defined contribution assets and $24 billion in multi-asset class portfolios (03/31/2014), across a variety of mutual funds, separately managed accounts, and collective investment trust funds.
