Gliatech to Recall Adcon Gel

Gliatech(GLIA Quote - Cramer on GLIA - Stock Picks) said today it is issuing a voluntary recall of its Adcon gel as a result of a recall by one of its raw material suppliers.

The biosurgical research and development company is recalling Adcon-L worldwide and Adcon-T/N outside the U.S. Gliatech voluntarily suspended the distribution of the products earlier this month.

Shares of Gliatech, which is based in Cleveland, lost 13 cents, or 3.2%, to $3.81 in recent Nasdaq trading.
