(NYSE:NRZ)(the “Company” or “New Residential”) today announced that it launched a public offering of 25,000,000 shares of its common stock pursuant to a registration statement on Form S-11 filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. In connection with the offering, New Residential has granted the underwriter an option for 30 days to purchase up to an additional 3,750,000 shares of New Residential’s common stock.
New Residential intends to use the net proceeds from this offering for general corporate purposes, including to make a variety of investments, which may include, but is not limited to, investments in Excess MSRs, servicer advances, real estate securities and real estate related loans.
