This week, Citrix CTO Office Chair and VP of Citrix Labs, Martin Duursma, will keynote at the
SRII Global Conference at the Fairmont Hotel San Jose. The three-day event provides a platform for connecting senior industry, academia, research and government leaders from around the world.
Duursma’s keynote, titled “IT Consumerization is Driving Human Productivity” will open the conference on Thursday at 8:30 a.m. He will dive into the personal versus corporate dilemma that users and IT departments face in today’s workplace.
Duursma will address how the trend toward BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) is impacting businesses, as well as driving deeper personal digital integration through mobile workspaces. Attendees will learn how consumer-like personalized experiences have helped to improve productivity and the quality of people’s lives, enabling users to focus on what’s important in the information-rich 2014 landscape. As a result, people are being enabled to work better, communicate and collaborate with anyone at any location, and use whatever device they choose.
Citrix and the Citrix Startup Accelerator are both sponsors of the event, during which several seed companies funded by the Accelerator will be demoing their latest innovative products and services.
Duursma joins an esteemed list of speakers at this year’s event, including executives from companies such as Accenture, CA, Google, Intel, McAfee, Nebula, NetApp, PayPal, Qualcomm, SAP, VMware and Xerox Research Center. Other sponsors include Brocade, IBM, SAP and UC Berkley.
