Kimball International, Inc. (NASDAQ: KBALB), the Indiana-based manufacturer of electronics components and commercial furnishings, today announced the appointment of three new officers within the Company’s Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) segment, Kimball Electronics Group. The appointments reflect Kimball International’s commitment to leadership development as well as the Company’s recognition of personal achievements and contributions. The promotions became effective March 31.
Today’s announcement concerns the following promotions.
Julie Dutchess, 62, has been promoted to the position of Vice President, Human Resources for Kimball Electronics Group, responsible for all aspects of global human resources, personnel and benefits for the Group’s multinational operations. Dutchess has served as the Group’s Director of Human Resources since 1997. She joined Kimball in 1975, and has advanced through progressively more responsible administrative and personnel management roles. Dutchess and her husband Bob reside in Jasper, Indiana.
Sandy Smith, 51, has been promoted to Vice President, Information Technology, with global responsibility for Kimball’s EMS information technology and computing systems in Asia, Europe and North America. She currently serves as Director, Systems Support, a position she assumed in 2004. Smith joined Kimball in 1987, starting in customer service and moved into information technology support, holding a series of increasingly responsible management and information technology positions, including IT support, systems manager and IT Director. Smith and her husband, Brad, reside in Jasper, Indiana.Janusz Kasprzyk, 53, currently General Manager of Kimball Electronics Poland, has been promoted to Vice President, European Operations. In his expanded role, Kasprzyk will serve as the Group’s most senior leader in Europe, with responsibility for high level customer liaison and identification of significant new growth opportunities. Kasprzyk has 30 years of experience in the electronics manufacturing services industry. He joined Kimball Electronics in 2000 as Operations Manager of the manufacturing facility in Poznan. His knowledge and expertise led to his appointment as General Manager in 2005, and during his tenure the facility has achieved consistent growth and enhanced profitability. Kasprzyk and his family reside in Poznan.
