NEW YORK, March 17, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:NDAQ) announced the results of the semi-annual evaluation of the NASDAQ Technology Dividend Index
SM (Nasdaq:NQ96DIVUS), which will become effective prior to market open on March 24, 2014.
The following fourteen securities will be added to the Index: EMC Corporation (NYSE:EMC), Frontier Communications Corporation (Nasdaq:FTR), Himax Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq:HIMX), ChipMOS TECHNOLOGIES (Bermuda) LTD. (Nasdaq:IMOS), Mentor Graphics Corporation (Nasdaq:MENT), Nice-Systems Limited (Nasdaq:NICE), NetApp, Inc. (Nasdaq:NTAP), Open Text Corporation (Nasdaq:OTEX), Power Integrations, Inc. (Nasdaq:POWI), SCIENCE APPLICATIONS INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION (NYSE:SAIC), Shenandoah Telecommunications Co (Nasdaq:SHEN), Silicon Motion Technology Corporation (Nasdaq:SIMO), SanDisk Corporation (Nasdaq:SNDK), Wipro Limited (NYSE:WIT).

(NYSE:LDOS), Linear Technology Corporation (Nasdaq:LLTC), Micrel, Incorporated (Nasdaq:MCRL), Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NYSE:NTT), SK Telecom Co., Ltd. (NYSE:SKM), Seagate Technology. (Nasdaq:STX), United Online, Inc. (Nasdaq:UNTD), Telefonica Brasil S.A. (NYSE:VIV).
