Green Dot Corporation (NYSE:GDOT) today announced it has been chosen as a 2014 Paybefore Awards winner in four categories for its prepaid debit card products and award-winning mobile bank account, GoBank.
Green Dot shares honors with Walmart in the “Consumer Champion” category for the Walmart MoneyCard
reloadable prepaid card program, which Green Dot issues and manages. In addition, Green Dot received recognition in “The Better Way” category for Walmart Rapid Reload, which supports the Walmart MoneyCard
and Green Dot reloadable prepaid debit card programs. GoBank was chosen as a winner in “The Gotta-Have Mobile App” and “Paybefore Genius Award” categories.
For eight years, the Paybefore Awards have conferred the most prestigious recognition of excellence in the worldwide prepaid, mobile and emerging payments industry. The awards are presented annually by Paybefore, the leading information provider to prepaid, mobile and emerging payments industry professionals.
