Cowen Group, Inc. (“Cowen”) (NASDAQ:COWN) today announced the appointment of technology veteran, Joseph Bronson, as Strategic Advisor to Cowen and Company’s investment banking division. In this role, Mr. Bronson will work closely with Cowen’s investment banking team to broaden client relationships and provide senior level advice to the firm and clients.
Mr. Bronson joins Cowen following more than 30 years of operational and advisory experience in the technology industry. He has held senior management roles at some of the largest publicly-traded semiconductor corporations, including Applied Materials, a top supplier of equipment to the global semiconductor industry, and Sanmina, a global electronic manufacturing services provider. His distinguished career also includes senior management and board positions with several other public and privately-held companies within the technology, materials and engineering industries as well as advisory roles with numerous technology companies on matters related to finance and operations.
