(NYSE: KAR), today announced that Rita Figi, IAA's vice president of human resources, has been nominated to the Chicago Metropolitan Board of Directors of the American Heart Association, Midwest Affiliate for a two-year term. In this role, Figi will help lead the achievement of the association's mission to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke through oversight of local revenue generation and health impact activities.
As a member of the Midwest Affiliate Board of Directors, Figi will help oversee the American Heart Association's efforts in an 11-state region, comprised of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin. Ms. Figi was previously appointed to the American Heart Association's National Compensation & Benefits Advisory Committee last year.

Prior to joining IAA, Ms. Figi was a director of Benefits at ServiceMaster Management Services Division.
