Information Holdings Surges 15% on Positive Outlook
Information Holdings(IHI Quote) was up 14.9% in early trading. The database and information services company said late Thursday that it expects fourth-quarter earnings of 17-19 cents a share, well ahead of the Street's estimate of 6 cents. The company credited strong results from a recently acquired unit and lower costs.
