Mercedes C Class
The Mercedes C Class has been replaced by the CLA as Mercedes' entry level vehicle, so it needed to be a step up. Caldwell said it succeeded.
"C Class definitely has a luxury feel, like a mini S class," Caldwell said. "There are a lot of technical advantages in that car. I think they succeeded in the looks, and they have a lot of engine options -- Mercedes always has something going on.
The new Class C, a midsize sedan, resembles the previous generation. One big difference is that, like the F-150, the 2015 Class C uses aluminum extensively throughout the body, resulting in a weight decrease of 220 pounds.
The new C Class will be built in Vance, Ala.
