(NASDAQ: ULTI) announced today that Cineplex Entertainment (“Cineplex”), one of Canada’s largest entertainment companies, is bringing a range of benefits to its large population of employees by leveraging Ultimate’s easy-to-use technology, enterprise integration tools, and partnership with Ultimate for human capital management (HCM).
In addition to operating 161 theatres with 1,630 screens in all 10 Canadian provinces,

Ultimate’s UltiPro solution
, the Toronto-based company was using an HRMS legacy system that had limited reporting capabilities, which in turn created redundancies and excessive work for the HR and payroll teams. The system provided service to only a portion of the company’s 11,000 employees, which added to its unique business complexities because Cineplex’s large workforce is predominantly part-time, as well as dispersed across more than 100 locations.
