The Gold Standard Award for Corporate Citizenship identifies excellence for the development of a corporate social responsibility (CSR), sustainability or good governance project that enhances corporate reputation. Xylem Watermark, whose mission is to provide and protect clean water resources around the world, was selected for its strong nonprofit partnerships, record of impactful emergency response and capacity building, employee engagement in the field, and dedication to providing sustainable solutions to communities in need.

In Asia alone, Xylem Watermark has reached more than 1.7 million people in 300 communities with its nonprofit partners – Water For People, Mercy Corps, China Women’s Development Foundation and Planet Water Foundation. Since launching in 2008, the program has reached a total of more than 2.1 million people in more than 20 countries around the world.
