The Philadelphia Orchestra and PECO will announce the more than 30 concerts that tickets are available for during PECO Power Week , a money-saving advance rush ticket program sponsored by PECO that will run from December 9 at noon to December 15 at noon. During PECO Power Week, tickets that are normally available for $10 before concerts as part of the PECO Power Hour are available in advance for $10 — up to a 90 percent savings over regular ticket prices. The kick-off event at the Shops at Liberty Place includes a performance by members of The Philadelphia Orchestra, who will be playing seasonal favorites.

BACKGROUND: The Philadelphia Orchestra and PECO have partnered to provide $10 tickets in advance to more than 30 concerts as part of the PECO Power Week. The program provides customers with an affordable opportunity to experience The Philadelphia Orchestra by offering up to 100 tickets at $10 each for most regular season performances. Tickets for these performances regularly sell from $20 to $156. Throughout the year, the tickets are also sold during the PECO Power Hour from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM for a 2 PM performance and from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM for an 8 PM performance at the Box Office only. During PECO Power Week, beginning Monday, December 9 at noon, concert goers can order PECO Power Week tickets online, by phone or at the Box Office; online at
