), an environmental services company that recycles industrial waste streams and off-specification commercial chemical products, announced today the pricing of its previously announced underwritten public offering. Vertex Energy is offering 2,950,261 shares of its common stock at $2.80 per share to the public. In connection with the offering, Vertex Energy has also granted the underwriter a 30-day option to purchase up to 442,539 additional shares of common stock from Vertex Energy to cover any over-allotments. Vertex Energy intends to use the net proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes, including potential acquisitions. The offering is expected to settle and close on November 26, 2013, subject to customary closing conditions.
