Jones will be on the panel,
"Opportunities, Partnerships and Challenges within the IoT and M2M Space," on November 26 at 2:00pm. He will explore how machine-to-machine communication is evolving into extreme connectivity enabled by the Internet of Things, and how operators and enterprises can take advantage of the growing IoT ecosystem to deliver compelling new services and boost revenue.
As part of Xively's "Save the Bees" hackfest, the company is challenging participants to use Xively Cloud Services and connected devices to build a solution for studying the declining bee population and encouraging growth. First-, second- and third-place teams will receive £700, £500 and £300 respectively. The winning team will also receive one year of the Xively starter package for up to 100 devices.
