Lauderdale Sunday, December 1, 2013 The Fort Lauderdale Historical Society will hold its 2 nd Annual Family Holiday Festival in Old Fort Lauderdale on Sunday, December 1, 2013 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. along S.W. 2 nd Avenue in the historical district of downtown Fort Lauderdale (ample parking is available in the nearby county parking garage.) This FREE Family Holiday Festival features period costumed performers, traditional holiday decorations, historical tours, an old fashioned cake walk, arts and crafts, children's activities, wreath-making, holiday shopping and even a pet costume contest and parade.
