PCM, Inc. (NASDAQ: PCMI) today announced it has achieved the Cisco Master Unified Communications Specialization. This specialization recognizes that PCM has the expertise to provide sophisticated, value-added Cisco Unified Communications solutions through in-depth sales capabilities, technology implementation skills and fully managed service offerings. The Cisco Master Unified Communications Specialization is the highest level of expertise in this category within the Cisco Channel Partner program.
PCM, Inc. will now have a special indicator representing this achievement within the Cisco Partner Locator which will enable customers, Cisco personnel and partners to identify PCM as having achieved this significant specialization.
“Our team worked diligently to achieve this Master Specialization distinction from Cisco,” said Stephen Moss, President, PCM Services. “As a result, our clients are able to connect their employees, partners, and customers to collaborate over voice and video with live, rich media content – anywhere, any time, and on virtually any device – using the latest UC technology. Achieving Cisco Master Unified Communications Specialization illustrates PCM’s commitment to a world-class customer experience when planning, designing, deploying and managing Cisco advanced technology solutions.”
To achieve the Master Unified Communications Specialization, PCM first attained the Advanced Unified Communications Specialization and continued to grow its customer base in the all-important UC technology space. PCM then had to meet stringent requirements that demonstrate its master-level sales, technical and services capabilities. In addition, master specialized partners like PCM must possess a number of Cisco and industry standard technical certification requirements, provide customer references that document Cisco-prescribed design and deployment capabilities and demonstrate that they have the infrastructure to support a full service catalog of offerings.
The Cisco Resale Channel Program provides a framework for partners to build the sales, technical and Cisco Lifecycle Services skills required to deliver Cisco solutions to end customers. Through the program's specializations and certifications, Cisco recognizes a partner's expertise in deploying solutions based on Cisco advanced technologies and services. Using a third-party audit process, the program validates partner qualifications such as technology skills, business best practices, customer satisfaction, and pre- and post-sales support capabilities—critical factors in choosing a trusted partner.
