Frontier Airlines today announced it will expand its low-fare service at Trenton-Mercer Airport (TTN), in Ewing, N.J., with the addition of nonstop service to Cleveland, Ohio, beginning Feb. 13, 2014; Indianapolis, Ind. beginning April 29, 2014; and Nashville, Tenn. beginning April 30, 2014. To celebrate this announcement, Frontier is offering fares as low as $39* each way to Cleveland and $49* each way to Indianapolis and Nashville through Nov. 16, 2013.
Frontier is the only airline providing scheduled service out of Trenton-Mercer Airport, the gateway to New Jersey’s state capital, all of central New Jersey, and Southeast Pennsylvania, including metro Philadelphia.
The addition of these three cities brings Frontier’s total nonstop destinations served from Trenton-Mercer Airport to 14:
- Fort Lauderdale
- Fort Myers
“This is a great day for consumers as we bring three new low-fare options to the Trenton/Princeton area, providing a time and money saving option to even more customers throughout the region,” said David Siegel, Frontier’s chief executive officer.
“Customers who fly from Trenton-Mercer Airport can enjoy a newly upgraded airport with an improved customer experience and convenient access,” said Daniel Shurz, Frontier’s senior vice president, commercial. "And customers can always find great value fares to these 14 destinations at FlyFrontier.com.”
“These new routes announced by Frontier come just as we complete renovations at our terminal, making Trenton-Mercer Airport a first-class facility,” said Mercer County Executive Brian M. Hughes. “We are excited about Frontier’s continued expansion to destinations that travelers in the Mercer County region desire, and we’re equally eager to welcome visitors to the Trenton-Mercer region.”
