DETROIT, Nov. 5, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Compuware Corporation (Nasdaq: CPWR), the technology performance company, announced today that Houston-based Encore Health Resources, LLC, one of the most successful consulting firms in the health information technology (HIT) industry, has selected Changepoint as one of three core business applications supporting Encore's rapidly growing healthcare IT consulting practice.
Changepoint, a market-leading professional services automation (PSA) solution, will help Encore Health Resources fully manage complex service engagements from opportunity creation, resource planning and service delivery to final billing and revenue recognition. As the backbone for Encore's 400-person consulting business, Changepoint will be fully integrated into Encore's cloud-based solutions for CRM and its financial system.
The Encore project team examined several cloud-based PSA solutions, narrowing the field to Changepoint's software as a service (SaaS) PSA solution and one other international PSA vendor. After working with instances of both products to test the strength of each solution's integration with its CRM solution, Changepoint was selected. "We are a virtual consulting business, so we require a solution that could manage every aspect of our services business, from the moment an opportunity leaves Salesforce to revenue recognition within Microsoft Dynamics GP," said Roger Huseman, Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Financial Officer, Encore Health Resources. "We also sought a partner that could fully operate in our cloud-based business model for Encore's IT infrastructure.""Financial health is at the core of any services business – and it is critical for a fast-growing company such as Encore Health Resources," said Lori Ellsworth, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Changepoint Business Unit. "Based on work with our large and global customer base, Changepoint has proven that we have the depth of understanding, knowledge and the ability to integrate into a customer's existing infrastructure to effectively support services organizations."
