Eagle Investment Systems Takes Top Honor At The 2013 Best Buy-Side Technology Awards

BOSTON, Nov. 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Eagle Investment Systems LLC, a leading provider of financial services technology and a subsidiary of BNY Mellon, today announced it has been named the 2013 Best Buy-Side Technology Provider for 2013 at the Buy-Side Technology Awards. Eagle was presented this same award in 2009 and is the only company to receive this high honor more than once.

"As one of the leading providers across multiple solutions and services, there was no company more deserving than Eagle Investment Systems as the recipient of the best buy-side technology provider for 2013 category," said Victor Anderson, editor-in-chief of Waters Magazine. "Eagle's data management, investment accounting, and performance-measurement offerings, along with its private cloud, Eagle ACCESS SM, are helping buy-side firms around the world to manage their assets more accurately and their businesses more efficiently. In winning this category, Eagle becomes the first two-time recipient of this prestigious award since the Buy-Side Technology Awards were founded back in 2007."

"We are honored to be named the best technology provider once again for our innovative solutions and services to the buy-side," said John Lehner, president and CEO of Eagle. "It is gratifying to be recognized for our ongoing investment in our solutions and commitment to creating efficiencies that enable clients to grow their businesses."

The Buy-Side Technology Awards are selected by a judging panel made up of industry analysts, consultants and editors from Waters Magazine and Buy-Side Technology.

This is the latest of several awards presented to Eagle in 2013. Other honors include FSOkx Excellence in Performance Measurement, FTF News Technology Innovation's Best Buy-Side Operations Solution, and FTF News Technology Innovation's Best Enterprise Data Management solution.

Eagle is committed to helping financial institutions worldwide grow assets efficiently with its award-winning portfolio management suite of data management, investment accounting and performance measurement solutions that are delivered over its secure private cloud, Eagle ACCESSSM.
