ChannelAdvisor (NYSE:ECOM), a leading provider of cloud-based e-commerce solutions that enable retailers and manufacturers to increase global sales, today announced its participation at the 2013
SEMA Auto Show
taking place on November 5- 8 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. ChannelAdvisor’s e-commerce experts will be available in booth 31229 to connect with automotive retailers on the benefits of an advanced e-commerce platform for online success. ChannelAdvisor will be available to discuss their recently formalized partnership with OrderPigeon®, which provides technology focused on the regulation of inventory, order and shipping data between retailers and wholesale distributors.
“SEMA is a great show every year,” said ChannelAdvisor Vice President of Sales Paul Colucci. “We’re excited to share some new functionality with automotive retailers while at the show. We work hard to optimize the online selling process for retailers and especially for automotive sellers, who face a number of challenges with fitment and more. With that in mind, we developed a partnership with OrderPigeon that we feel will greatly benefit auto retailers.”
ChannelAdvisor’s partnership with OrderPigeon creates a conduit to optimize online business for its automotive customers. OrderPigeon synchronizes the inventory of each wholesale distributor for our automotive retail clients. This information is delivered into the ChannelAdvisor platform in real-time, and once the item is sold, OrderPigeon sends the order to the distributor with the quickest and most cost-efficient shipping method. Finally, shipping information is sent back to ChannelAdvisor and immediately out to the retailer and customer.
“We are incredibly excited to be partnering with ChannelAdvisor on an endeavor to increase sales opportunities for online retailers,” said Christian Hassold, CEO of CollisionSync, the company that owns and operates OrderPigeon. “ChannelAdvisor is a perfect partner for OrderPigeon, and since launching the service this summer with select retailers, we’ve seamlessly routed thousands of sales with virtually zero keystrokes.”
