The SB1 can be worn by every
associate and used to scan items to check price and availability, have immediate access to product information, accept tasks, and connect to other employees via a push-to-talk (PTT) feature. Each year, CRN Test Center Editors review hundreds of products to determine the best of the best. This year, companies were encouraged to submit across 17 hardware and software categories including enterprise management and productivity software; wireless networking; voice and data; enterprise network communications; display technology; handheld devices; PC servers; workstations and desktops; laptops; printing and imaging solutions; security; storage and cloud solutions; and virtualization. Winners were announced at a special presentation during the NexTI Conference on Oct. 28.
