BankUnited, Inc. (NYSE:BKU) (the "Company") announced today the pricing of an underwritten offering of 9,000,000 shares of its common stock by certain of its existing stockholders (collectively, the "Selling Stockholders") at $30.75 per share.
The Company will not receive any proceeds from the offering. In connection with the offering, the underwriters have a 30-day option to purchase an additional 1,350,000 shares in the offering from the Selling Stockholders.
The offering is being made pursuant to a registration statement on Form S-3 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on March 6, 2013.
