/PRNewswire/ -- The Hertz Corporation (NYSE: HTZ), the world's largest general use car rental brand, announced that Hertz UK is supplying 16 uniquely liveried vans and 20 people carriers to Rugby League World Cup 2013 (RLWC2013) as its Official Vehicle Hire Supplier. The vehicles will transport players, coaches and equipment to and from the fixtures during the six week tournament. To join in with the fun and excitement of the global sporting event, Hertz is providing each participating nation with their own specially designed van sporting colorful designs that capture the essence of their national identity. The Hertz brand will also be strongly profiled during the matches with large perimeter boards and match day program advertisements.
Hertz also provided the Trophy Tour Van which took the famous silverware across the UK over the past seven months, with the tour proving a major hit in RLWC2013's host communities. The van, which is decorated with RLWC and Hertz imagery, will continue to be on the road until the start of the tournament.
