bill has set out to erase public misconceptions by agreeing to star in a self-titled documentary film.

to film the latest print run of twos at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing.
filmmaker John Bennardo is helming the production of this documentary, and believes it's about time the public came to understand the Two. "Most people don't even know the
bill exists," said Bennardo. "This film will answer questions about why the bill is hoarded, assumed lucky and rarely seen in society." Bennardo has already interviewed superstition experts, historians, numismatists and special interest groups, and now brings the production to the BEP for an exclusive look at the five stages of the bill's creation. All of it will help make up the narrative for the film, which should be completed in late 2014.
Using Kickstarter, Bennardo has created a fundraising campaign for his audience to become part of the film and share unique stories of their own encounters with the
