Kimball International, Inc. (NASDAQ: KBALB) today announced the hiring and appointment of Mike Wagner to the position of Vice President, General Manager for Kimball Office. Wagner will assume responsibility for the entire Kimball Office organization, including support and oversight of strategic direction, goals and growth objectives.

The appointment follows an exhaustive national search that generated considerable interest in the position by leading industry executives. Wagner’s appointment reflects Kimball’s desire to strengthen its leadership ranks with the addition of individuals with shared values yet offer diverse perspectives.
Don Van Winkle, President, Office Furniture Group and Vice President, Kimball International, announced the appointment, stating, “I am pleased that Mike has joined the Kimball Office team. Wagner has a strong background in the office furniture industry and brings over 13 years of experience and comprehensive leadership in sales and sales management, marketing, strategic planning and guiding the cultural evolution of organizations. Most recently he served as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing with OFS Brands. His previous experience includes international sales management and ownership of an independent representative group based in Chicago.
