Citrix Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:CTXS) today announced preliminary results for the third quarter of fiscal year 2013 ended September 30, 2013. Revenue for the quarter is expected to be in the range of $710 million to $712 million, below the company’s guidance of $730 million to $740 million. Net income for the third quarter of fiscal year 2013 per diluted share is expected to be in the range of $0.39 to $0.40 compared to guidance of $0.41 to $0.42 per diluted share. Non-GAAP net income for the third quarter of fiscal year 2013 per diluted share is expected to be in the range of $0.68 to $0.69, compared to guidance of $0.72 to $0.73 per diluted share. Non-GAAP net income per diluted share excludes the effects of amortization of acquired intangible assets, stock-based compensation expenses and the tax effects related to these items.
