TSYS (NYSE: TSS) announced today that Allen Pettis, executive vice president of Relationship Management, and Allen Friedman, associate business development director for TSYS Merchant Services, will be featured in panel discussions at Money2020, on October 6-10, 2013.
Pettis will participate in a panel entitled: “Major Issuing Processor Innovations.” While new industry participants have emerged and the value of data has increased, processors have increased their flexibility while enhancing their traditional strengths such as security, availability and accuracy. The panel will explain how issuing processors are evolving to remain a key link in the payments industry while helping to support more complex payment applications.
Friedman, an active TSYS representative with the EMV Migration Forum (EMF) and Smart Card Alliance (SCA) will join the “U.S. EMV Migration Update” panel discussion. The United States is the last developed country to adopt EMV, which comes with some benefits and additional risks. This cross-industry panel will examine the state of the EMV movement by looking at the remaining obstacles and addressing how each stakeholder is positioned to meet its respective timelines.
The conference will be held at the Aria Resort in Las Vegas. For more information, visit
