Tennenbaum Capital Partners, LLC (“TCP”), an alternative investment management firm focused primarily on middle-market credit, today announced that Gary Lembo has joined the New York office as Director. Mr. Lembo is involved in sourcing, executing and managing credit investments across the firm’s performing and special situation credit strategies.

Mr. Lembo was most recently a senior vice president with Deloitte CRG. He has advised numerous companies in developing and implementing performance improvement and operational restructuring initiatives and recently served as chief restructuring officer for a large restaurant chain, overseeing the Chapter 11 process and asset sales for the debtor. Prior to Deloitte CRG, Mr. Lembo was a managing director at Marathon Asset Management where he was responsible for originating, structuring and managing senior and subordinated loans originated from both the primary and secondary markets.
Mr. Lembo received a BS in Accounting and an MBA from Rutgers University, as well as a BA in Criminal Justice from The University of Maryland. He is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in the state of New York.
