In this role, Karkaria will be responsible for driving Diebold's global software strategy and portfolio management, developing Diebold's software delivery model and enhancing customer collaboration and consulting processes.

In this role, he was responsible for leading strategic programs for the turnaround of the HP Enterprise Services ABS unit and managing the MphasiS relationship. Prior to this, Karkaria also ran the Solutioning team and Bestshore Delivery in
. Before his time at HP, Karkaria worked at EDS in
Sao Paulo, Brazil
, most recently serving as vice president, global competency centers. Prior to this, Karkaria also held various leadership positions at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in
where he was responsible for starting their outsourcing operations.
