(NASDAQ: JIVE) announced that they have been selected by SCG, one of the leading conglomerates in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), to transform the way the 100-year-old organization gets work done. SCG will use Jive's industry-leading social business platform to help employees collaborate and communicate more effectively and boost individual and team productivity -- whether for people based in one of the
-based company's offices or for field workers on the ground.
With over 47,000 employees who focus on three core businesses – Cement-Building Materials, Chemicals, and Paper -- and manufacture more than 64,000 products, SCG continues to expand its business presence into international markets, and strongly emphasizes product innovation and improved processes. As SCG celebrates its centennial, one of the company's key priorities is to create an internal community to improve the way employees work with each other across geographies and time zones. At the same time, the company is looking at innovative ways the executive team can promote the company's vision and shared standards, processes and culture seamlessly.
