LOUIS, Sept. 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Centene Corporation (NYSE: CNC) announced today that CeltiCare Health Plan, its Massachusetts subsidiary, was notified by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS) that it has been awarded a contract to participate in the MassHealth CarePlus program in all five regions, with a contract effective date of October 15, 2013 and commencement of coverage on January 1, 2014.
Under the contract, CeltiCare will provide comprehensive healthcare services for eligible non-pregnant Medicaid adults in the Northern, Greater Boston, Southern, Central and Western regions. Services will include medical, behavioral health, dental, vision, pharmacy, therapies and transportation.
