NEW YORK ( TheStreet) -- TheStreet's Ross Kenneth Urken and "Mad Money" research director Nicole Urken help Jim Cramer understand Oyster, a new company.
Oyster is a young start-up company out of New York that runs a streaming book service with a monthly subscription.
What Netflix (NFLX) is to streaming video, Oyster is to streaming books.
Streaming books will encourage more reading, Nicole Urken suggested. While many prefer to read on a bigger screen, Oyster is only available on Apple's (AAPL) iPhone and iPod Touch so far, she added. Cramer said he is an avid reader but prefers the physical books. The streaming service sounds interesting and could be more attractive on different (and bigger) devices, he said. Ross Kenneth Urken said the company will bring the service to more devices over time. -- Written by Bret Kenwell in Petoskey, Mich. Follow @BretKenwell
