The addition of Asset's software and domain experience extends Trimble's portfolio of forestry logistics and optimization solutions, already in use in
. Financial terms were not disclosed. The acquisition is expected to close by the end of
Asset is a provider of timber dispatch technology and services. Asset's WSX logistics system drives timber transportation productivity and streamlines supply chain management to optimize returns on timber.
