Estes Park Mobile Coverage
"AT&T is doing all we can to assist authorities in their evacuation and rescue efforts. We are currently providing resources in
to assist first responders and those in need of cell service for essential communications."
"Through our Network Disaster Recovery Team, last night we have deployed a cell site on light truck (COLT) behind the Estes Park Town Hall (170 MacGregor Avenue), which will provide mobile coverage to emergency responders and those allowed within the impacted area."
"As in all disaster situations, we encourage wireless customers in affected areas to use text messaging when communication is necessary. Let's work together to ensure emergency services and personnel can access the wireless network to coordinate critical activities."

AT&T's satellite COLT provides cellular service in the deployment area, and is targeted to support those working and living in
to help keep communications flowing. As a self-contained mobile cell site, a COLT can be quickly set up to provide supplemental cellular capacity to an area, or in this case, bring limited coverage to a town without landline or cellular coverage. The deployment is being staffed by AT&T Network Disaster Recovery Operations team members.
Due to technology differences between wireless providers and capacity limitations during an emergency, only AT&T customers and first responders with AT&T devices will be able to access the COLT.
