Nuance Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ:NUAN) today announced that Chief Technology Officer Vlad Sejnoha has been named the 2013 CTO of the Year by the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council. Vlad was presented with the 2013 CTO of the Year Award at the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council (Mass TLC) Awards Gala on September 12 th.
Vlad directs Nuance’s global research, driving advanced speech recognition technology development and strategy, with an emphasis on emerging areas, including natural language understanding (NLU), mobile applications and intelligent systems. Under his leadership, Nuance has developed a broad portfolio of voice and NLU technologies that are central to a new wave of intelligent systems and personal assistant offerings across the Mobile, Enterprise and Healthcare industries, and are experienced by millions of people every day.
